Experiences are provided in clinical decision-making and in the implementation of evidence-based practice in a variety of primary care settings .

Emphasis is placed on the diagnosis and management of acute episodic and chronic conditions of newborns to 5-year old in the context of the primary care setting and community . Evidenced based practice is utilized as the basis for primary care management and decision-making including diagnosis , appropriate diagnostic procedures , laboratory tests , and follow up care . Clinical experiences are provided in a variety of primary care settings .
