4. a) The four parts of an electrical circuit are power supply, connectors, control
device and a load
b) To be a complete circuit the current must start at the negative terminal of the
electrical source, travel through the connectors, control device, load other
connectors and back to the positive terminal of the electrical source. A short circuit
is when electricity bypasses the load.
5. a) A voltmeter measures electric potential in volts (V) and must be connected
in parallel to a load.
b) An ammeter measures current in amperes(A) and must be connected in
series to the circuit.
