ABOUT THE ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION
The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Alliance for Women in Media , supporting educational programs and scholarships to benefit the public , the media and allied fields . The Foundation has created partnerships and joint initiatives with institutions and organizations including : NAB , NCTA-The Internet & Television Association , the Loreen Arbus Foundation , Ford Motor Company and many other organizations that are philosophically aligned with our mission .
We offer emerging media professionals development opportunities as well as the chance to enhance their network by attending events , including our Women Who Lead series and the AWM Women ’ s Room @ NAB , as well as opportunities for connecting to leaders in media . The Foundation also supports public service campaigns , including Empowering America ®, which pays tribute to many of America ’ s most pioneering and inspiring women .
