The Just Shall Live By Faith
In Luke 17:1, Jesus made a declaration which anyone who was promised that after accepting Christ all will be rosy. Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come (NIV). Situations and circumstances are bound to happen that will challenge your, confidence, courage, commitment, control and purpose. What are you going to do then?
The Bible repeatedly say, "The just shall live by faith." Do you believe in that the work of Christ is finished? Do you believe that He imputed righteousness on you just as sin was imputed on Him? Do you believe Christ is willing to be called your Healer? Do you believe Christ wants to be your Provider? Do you believe the Holy Spirit is your Comforter? Do you believe that God is your Father? If you believe, then whatever you shall ask, you shall have it.
Just like dad!
Jesus said it well (of course, He is God what would you expect?), "As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world." The world doesn't have mental strength that's why the world needs to learn how to cultivate and train themselves up for that. Let me be blunt here. Do you know how insulting it is to Christ to say that you want to develop mental strength when you believe in Him? My son is handsome, of course like his dad LOL. He owe his looks to me. If he wasn't my son he wouldn't be like me, period. Imagine he wake up one morning and say he was going to have a facial surgery because he looks ugly. What will I feel?
1Co 2:12-16 KJV(12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
