Grace Point! February 2015 | Page 18

Pastor Nyambane is located in Kisii, Kenya. I met him in November, when he sent me a message asking me to pray for him. I had had no prior contact with him, nor did we have anyone in common that could have directed him to me. God had he and I on a mission that day, for Pastor Ishmael was being bombarded by the enemy, and was about to take his own life. But, God intervened, and now Pastor Ishmael is back doing the Lord’s work wherein he has been called, with a heart now operating in grace, and not condemnation! This is what he wants me to pass along to you, the reader, as a way of expressing thanks to God for showing him His unconditional love. Psalms 124:1-7 Had it not been the LORD who was on our side,” Let Israel now say, Had it not been the LORD who was on our side When men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their anger was kindled against us; Then the waters would have engulfed us, The stream would have swept over our soul; Then the raging waters would have swept over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us to be torn by their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the trapper; The snare is broken and we have escaped. Hebrews 13:10-14 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp. Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate. So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come. 18 Romans 12:4-5 For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
