LEWIS VS SEBASTIAN
It’s game on! Lewis Hamilton versus Sebastian Vettel, Mercedes versus
Ferrari and after two rounds it’s one-one, with 18 to go!
Formula 1 fans have the prospect of a salubrious contest between the sport’s
two best teams and arguably two of the best drivers on the grid.
Circumstances denied us a Hamilton-Vettel wheel-to-wheel battle in China,
but one senses that a toe-to-toe confrontation or two are just around the
corner. Whatever the case the pair are tied on points and are relishing the
battle and anticipating a great deal more drama in forthcoming races.
Shanghai was not only about them, as teenage prodigy Max Verstappen
again delivered a stupendous drive, earning himself Driver of the Day for his
performance packed with audacity, cunning and sheer bravado.
It was not such a good weekend for Kimi Raikkonen or fellow Finn Valtteri
Bottas. The Mercedes driver made a rookie mistake, while the Ferrari veteran
seems to have lost it altogether and his bosses were hardly impressed...
