Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton won the Mexican
Grand Prix, at the Autdoromo Hermanos Rodriguez, to add pressure on
Mercedes teammate and title rival Nico Rosberg by reducing the points
deficit between the pair to 19 points, with only two rounds remaining.
In truth Hamilton did what he had to do, but then so did Rosberg - thus
it was stalemate, but in a strange way advantage Nico.
The real drama of the day was behind the dominant Silver Arrows duo.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel slugged it with the Red Bull pair of Daniel
Ricciardo and Max Verstappen late in the race.
What transpired was some thrilling wheel-to-wheel stuff and a barrage
of trash talking straight out of a trailer park over the team radios.
In a nutshell Max thought he was third but wasn’t. Seb thought he was
third, even celebrating on the podium, but he wasn’t either. The pair were
penalised for transgressions during those heated final laps, with third
eventually going to Dan the Man. Yes we know it’s a long (confusing)
story... we have it well covered in his issue. Enjoy!
