ewis Hamilton has clawed his way back to the top of the
Formula 1 world championship standings thanks to a well
controlled and untroubled victory at the Hungarian Grand
Prix. He stamped his authority on proceedings from the moment
he slammed down the loud pedal and muscled his way to the front
by the time the pack exited Turn 1 at Hungaroring.
Thereafter he calmly went about his business, never seriously
challenged by his teammate who pursued relentlessly, but simply
did not have the firepower to challenge the leader.
Here is Hamilton’s take on his victory, which might go down as the
crucial turning point of the season and in the end may well lead to
his fourth world title.
