DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
Judges 5:2
Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
Simplified
Give honor to your Ruler of life for the vengeance of Israel, when the people without force presented themselves.
Consider every time we do not follow the instruction of the MOST HIGH, when we entertain the deception of the adversary without question, and when we refuse to accept the information given to lead us to victory; we willing step into the trap the adversary has set for us. Know that when we are in that season of our life and when we give into the adversity before us we can call out to the Ruler of life petitioning that the unlimited power show us grace[assistance] as well as mercy[love] despite our actions. Be reminded in those times you are being delivered the MOST HIGH deserves all the praise.
Know that the MOST HIGH reserve the right for wrath along with vengeance even though sometimes we do not move when we are asked, we do not grasp the information right away, and most importantly when people go out their way to harm us. Know that at the end of the day we give praise because we are blessed[protected] at all times; even in the lions den we walk into from disobedience from time to time.
