Environmental Stewardship Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive environmental stewardship plan to guide district efforts and align all existing plans related to environmental stewardship ( Comprehensive Master Plan , Urban Forestry Plan , The Grove Master Plan , Wagner Farm Master Plan ). This strategy will include and address holistic initiatives related to resource acquisition and management , sustainable operations , and sustainable building practices .
Community Outreach and Education
Develop and implement a communication , engagement , and education strategy to raise awareness , inform , educate , and equip the community to support efforts to conserve , preserve , and protect Glenview ’ s environmental , cultural , and historical resources for the benefit of current and future generations .
