The Blue Eyed Boy has some amazing strengths when it comes to his Golf Game . The promising 16 year old Golfer has succeeded in achieving spotlight as one of the youngest star champion by participating & winning various tournaments across the world . Apart from Golf , he is also involved in Swimming and Badminton . GolfPlus Junior caught up with the Junior champion Krishiv Tekchandani to get his thoughts on the game .
GPJ : How and when did you take up golf ?
KT : I was only seven when I took the golf club in my hands for the very �rst time and played my �rst shot . That moment when I took my �rst shot at Golf was simply love at �rst sight ! Golf came naturally to me and I realized I want to do this for a living . I had won a few tournaments and people were telling me that I was good at it . All the while , I continued picking up vital cues from diverse coaches and got extensively involved in this sport . Not �nding the current gol�ng infrastructure up to the mark , my parents realized that I would have to be sent abroad to get the best professional coaching . Hence we moved to Dubai where I started my training and played in competitive tournaments across the globe .
GPJ : How do you manage your �me between golf and studies ?
KT : I wanted to pursue Golf sport as my career and a conscious plan was de�ned to groom me for the same . My parents thought it would be wise to devote myself towards my passion while opting for home schooling & online education . Successful golfers are extremely effective time managers and I try my best to consider the amount of time that must be allocated to sleep , eating , attending classes , studying , gym , golf practice , and hopefully having some free time for a social life .
GPJ : Who has been your biggest in�uence in golf ?
KT : There are a lot of people who have had tremendous in�uence in my life . My parents have been two of the
