n the last years I joined different kinds
of junior golf seminars and regular
seminars and put all the knowledge
together in our Junior Golf World. You
shall be reading about the basic topics
that should be interesting for parents and
juniors and are neglected by everyone at
some point of their golf game.
WHY KIDS DON’T WANT TO PLAY

- Don’t fi nd any friends to company
- Playing from the wrong tee
- Placed in competition to soon
- Fear to failure
- Too much pressure
- Poor coaching

If kids and juniors don’t have fun during
they training or on the course they will
skip the game sooner or later. It is the most
important thing for a girl to have a friend
that also plays golf. People wonder Why?
Because the dropout rate for girls between
the age gaps of 12-16 is over 80% in all
sports and the main reason is because her
friends aren’t playing the same sport.
The important thing for parents is to
understand how to build an environment
that includes:
- Fun at the training and on the course in
relation to their age
- Finding friends
- Feeling good at the training
- Affi liation feeling
- Make it challenging but not too much
- Find a Kids/Junior Coach
