   Even though former
president Estrada had a
“Robin Hood” figure, it may
not be so with reality. In
an article of Ljacinto
(2018), Estrada amassed a
considerable wealth and a
line of mistresses. And
even after Arroyo pardoned
him from almost 7 years put
into detention while the
trial for his offenses, he
actually ran as a candidate
for mayor of Manila in 2013
and won according to an
article by Valencia (2017).
  Another person who also
seems to run the similar
platform such as Estrada is
Fernando Poe Jr. or FPJ.
According to Ljacinto
(2018), he is famous for
his role being a hero of
several action films,
however, despite the
election fraud,  the past
experience with Estrada may
be a factor of  Fernando
Poe Jr. failing the
presidency election.
