LIGHT IN THE TUNNEL
Peter Funke of Victoria needed more light in his van ’ s tunnel boot – it came with only one light , which was located on the nearside , making it difficult to find what he needed on the other side of the van , especially at night . His solution : adding this strip light , which runs almost the entire width of the tunnel boot .
COLOUR YOUR WORLD
If you ’ d like to add a little colour to your van , why not do what Peter Funke did ? Peter added LED strip lighting in various locations throughout his van , such as under the kitchen overhead lockers and above the dinette . These lights change colour at the push of a button on a remote control – the receiver is hidden under the bed .
The strips of LED sit inside an aluminium channel finished with plastic angle . The project was quite involved , though the result was worth the effort .
