KITCHEN WRAP
Mine isn ' t exactly a modification as such ; however , it is a very handy tip using kitchen wrap .
For those who have a pop-top van , have you ever experienced how hard it is to pop the top after it has been closed and stored for a while ? Even leaving the latches undone doesn ' t always help .
A handy hint is to put a layer of kitchen wrap between the rubber seal and the van – opening then becomes a breeze . And while we are on the subject of uses for kitchen wrap , when storing your van put a layer across your windows before you put the cover on . If wind moves the caravan cover around , it will prevent the cover scratching the windows .
A helpful tip here is to have a spray bottle of water handy , as it helps the kitchen wrap to stick to the window while you line it up . The kitchen wrap stays in position long after the water evaporates .
