FREEDOM CAMP OF THE MONTH into town and check out the pub , butcher , newsagent , supermarket and friendly café .
As well as the coin-operated shower , there are toilets , a barbecue , a picnic table , a playground , shade and views . Contained fires are allowed ( depending on fire restrictions ) and the site boasts a boat ramp , which was under maintenance when we were there .
Remember to use the donation cylinder at the toilet block so that camps like this can continue .
We had a top night at Neville Hewitt Weir , chatting to travellers , exploring the river , and we topped it off with a ‘ home-cooked ’ meal .
