So now we can either shut off the external drain valve and store the grey water, or leave it open and connect an external waste pipe as we all do in van parks to waste drains. Not only is the wastewater load itself now spread over the entire van chassis as it is stored, but the whole system is higher, less obtrusive, and holds far more water than any tank in one location. Layout of the parts Norm used for the system. We can simply remove each of the 150 screwed ends and flush the whole system out when we get home. I have since purchased another new van and intend to fit the same waste water system. As you can see the from pictures, it’s mounted higher than the previous system and holds more than the 85L originally planned. Norm King RAISING THE CURTAIN Our Jayco Outback’s bathroom is quite small as the washing machine takes up what space is available. I addressed the issue of bathroom space and privacy by adding a new curtain track from Ikea ($15) and a new shower curtain ($9) and fixed it to the cabin walls to create a large, private space for changing after a shower. Nothing ever falls off in transit. Geoff O’Shea 52 \
