STOP PRADO NEGATIVITY
I just had to send you a note after once again
reading how certain readers have bagged the
Toyota Prado (GoRV #38).
We have a turbodiesel Prado Kakadu and it is
a fantastic tow vehicle. We tow our 17ft 10in
JB Gator, which it does with ease. My husband
said the car/van combo felt ‘nimble'.
I'm sick and tired of people complaining that
they can't sustain speed when going up hills
and can't sit on the speed limit on highways.
Well, it's obvious to me that there are a lot of
people out there who simply can't drive their
car. We have not had this issue. Of course,
the car isn't going to be able to go at the pace
of a V8, we know that; however, it keeps to a
steady pace and does it with ease.
On the highway, we sit comfortably when it's
suitable at 100km/h.
So please stop the negativity around the Prado.
It's a fantastic vehicle for running around with
the family and for camping/4WDing.
