NO TROUBLE IN PARADISE
Unpowered sites are available, too, and they are
well-positioned within the park. Right next to
a waterway, amongst the palms… it’s rather
like paradise.
If you’d like a private bathroom, Lani’s offers ensuite
sites — the bathroom includes a shower, vanity and
a toilet, while the sites have a concrete slab, water,
power and sullage.
And then there are the cabins, from ‘spa retreats’ to
‘pet-friendly villas’ — it seems that Lani’s Holiday
Island knows a thing or two about creature comforts.
Our arrival coincided with New South Wales’ school
holidays, and as such the park’s school holiday
program, headed by Captain Tony, was in full-swing.
Kids flocked to morning crafts sections, games on
the grass in the evening, and a night-time disco in
the camp kitchen.
