Back at the Pavey camp, we share the responsibility for our own safety. We’ve completed defensive driver and 4WD training, helping us to naturally respond to dangers ‘out in the wild’. And we’re equally adept with other requirements such as hitching up, securing the safety chains, checking the lights, cupboards, roof catches and related activities. ROLE REVERSAL? Of interest to many, in most cases I do the reversing. Mike says this is because I’m lousy with directions, but the real reason is I’m just better at it.
