LEVEL THE RIDE
Finally, it’s crucial that the caravan ride in a
level fashion, with neither the front nor the
rear pointing skyward. This may require you to
adjust the height of the towball or to find another
solution. However, in our experience, a height-
adjustable hitch will usually solve issues relating
to the height of the towball.
If you have a receiver-style hitch that can be
rotated to either raise or lower towball height, be
aware that some manufacturers quote different
downloads when in the down or up positions.
