NATIONAL MUSTER BOOSTS ELMORE The Australian Caravan Club’s Chairman’s Muster contributed more than $37,000 to the economy of Elmore, Vic, a small town on the Campaspe River. The March rally was attended by 150 club members, and it was officially opened by the mayor of the City of Greater Bendigo, Margaret O’Rourke. “The Elmore Chairman’s muster provided an atmosphere for club members to chat informally with myself and three other board directors about club matters,” club chairman Craig Humphrey said. "Five happy hours, a ‘first timer’s’ afternoon tea, a catered dinner, and morning teas throughout the muster provided ample opportunity for this." The event concluded with the announcement of Murray Bridge, SA, as the venue for the 2019 Chairman’s Muster. ACC members are now turning their focus to the club’s 2018 National Muster, to be held in Denmark, WA, in October. It will be the first time an ACC National Muster has been held in Western Australia.
