The bore also keeps the lovely big dam full even in dry summers. MANY CHOICES When you come to this idyllic spot, you will be faced with choices. Do you stay and relax all day while drinking in the glorious views and watching the wildlife, or do you head out to visit the many attractions of the area? These include the Halls Gap Zoo, just up the road, going for a drive in the awesome Grampians, tasting some local wine in the nearby vineyards, dining at Barney's Bistro Bar at Pomonal, and sampling the fare at one the many fine restaurants in Halls Gap. I've recently discovered another attraction: Grampians Helicopters runs fantastic scenic flights over the Grampians from its base at the Stawell Airfield.
