Laminex for the benchtops and table, seat furnishings, floorboard vinyl and more. For some, choosing from a bunch of swatches is almost an impossible task. It’s a scenario played out regularly at our home- grown offroad camper store. Customers arrive with furrowed brows, stressed at the responsibility of making their choice. Some go the easy route and choose the colour scheme from our display campers. Others ponder the selection from the swatches, taking them out to the camper and trying to visualise the colours together. Or they have a go and seek help as required. CLOTH VS LEATHER One of the easier decisions is deciding between leather and cloth seating. Leather always looks great in any RV; it has a luxury look and feel, 28 gorv.com.au taking appearance to the next level. It’s generally easier to clean up after spills with a quick wipe and keeps its appearance with leather conditioner. But it does require an additional investment. Beyond appearance, leather can be uncomfortable to live with. When it's hot, your body can feel sticky and sweaty against it. In cold conditions, leather isn’t as accommodating as a cloth seat, imparting a cool feel. It’s nothing a thin cushion can’t fix, though! Generally, cloth seats are more accommodating over a wider temperature range. Textiles such as the Warwick range offer a quality fabric that not only look great but will last for years. There’s a range of colours from the light and bright to more subdued greys and browns. But they don’t fare so well with spillages. Between them, it’s a personal choice as to your preference.
