TRACK TRAILER HAS LAUNCHED THE TVAN SCOUT.
Based on the Tvan Canning,
the ‘Scout’ refers to a package
of upgrades designed to make
the camper – and its owner
– as prepared in the bush
as possible.
“The Tvan Scout is extremely
light at 1045kg Tare, meaning it
can follow you anywhere,” Track
Trailer marketing manager Lloyd
Waldron said. “It’s the worry-
free, throw-your-gear-in-and-go
camper trailer suitable for
quick weekends or long stays
at base camp.”
The features that come
included in the Scout over and
above the Canning include a new,
quick-access pantry, an offside
drawer with tie-down points

and a reconfigured front boot
incorporating dual slide-out
trays, a pantry on the kitchen
side and a shelf on the offside.
“This is our most popular front
boot configuration,” Lloyd
said. “It can even hold up to
a 60L ARB fridge.”
The Scout also features a
rear canvas screen upgrade,
an ensuite shower tent,
MaxTraxx mounting brackets
on the rear deck, a portable
gas shower (Joolca Hot Tap
brand) and shower stand, as
well as shower plumbing on
the offside.
“We fitted dedicated
plumbing for the portable
shower so that it can use the
Scout’s onboard water pump,
which is much easier than trying
to find another 12V source to
power another pump,” Lloyd said.
Finally, potential customers
have the ability to choose the
highlight colour of their Tvan
Scout.
“We think we’ve come up with
a very clever model configuration
that gives the customer
everything they need and nothing
they don’t,” Lloyd said.
