Wapello County VA Clinic
After years in a facility on Pennsylvania Avenue , the VA Clinic moved into the old Target building near Quincy Place Mall in 2020 ( 1020 N . Quincy Ave ., Suite 1 ).
The outpatient clinic offers several services for more than 900 veterans , including obtaining military records , license plates , helping with rent and providing groceries , to name a few .
The Iowa Veterans Trust Fund helps subsidize medical services at the facility , such as dental , hearing , vision and counseling . During the pandemic , telehealth became a popular service for veterans .
