Dr . Tom Howley featured in Dental Dilemmas

ADA Council on Ethics , Bylaws and Judicial Affairs ( CEBJA ) has introduced a podcast titled Dental Dilemmas to explore ethical issues in dentistry . Dental Dilemmas is available on Spotify , Apple , Amazon and Google podcasts and features interviews with the authors of Ethical Moment articles that appear in The
Journal of The American Dental Association . The second installment of this podcast featured Dr . Tom Howley , who has since completed
his term on CEBJA .
Dr . Howley ’ s episode (“ Friending on Social Media ”) discussed his Ethical Moment piece about the potential ethical considerations of a dentist connecting on social media with a patient of record . Dr . Howley ’ s article will also be featured in the January / February 2023 issue of the Pennsylvania Dental Journal .
