Dentists Giving Out Candy for Halloween !

Some of our members are making the most of a great Halloween tradition , collecting extra candy and donating it to our troops overseas . Our Dr . Michael Wong and Dr . Katie Lapps Wert of North Penn Pediatric Dental Associates in Lansdale , Harleysville and Quakertown , were recently featured on NBC10 Philadelphia .

Your PDA was well represented among the dental volunteers at the recent Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh free clinic held at David L . Lawrence Convention Center on October 27-28 . Former PDA presidents Dr . Jim Tauberg ( 2020-21 ), Dr . Herb Ray ( 2016-17 ), Dr . Nancy Rosenthal ( 2022-23 ) and Dr . Jon Johnston ( 2007-08 ) donated their time to this incredible effort and improved the lives of people who were in great need ,
DSCCDC Takes Part in CVIM GKAS Event

In
December , members of the Dental Society of Chester and Delaware County took part in Community Volunteers in Medicine ’ s annual Give Kids a Smile event . Thanks to their time and efforts , 26 children received donated dental treatment valued at a total of $ 24,613 . In addition , some of these member dentists are providing follow-up treatment in their offices .
