Proclaiming Jesus Christ, Making Disciples, Growing Healthy Churches

The Ukrainian Experience, - continued
Khmelnitsky. Kamyanets-Podilsky is an old
city with an amazing history. Its fortress
stood against the Mongol hordes that
swept Eastern Europe centuries ago protecting the remnants of Christianity remaining in the area.
Over the past four years, I had met with
some of these pastors to discuss the possibility of a Missions Fest in their city. When
the men arrived, I asked them how serious
they were. Their immediate reply was,
"We would not have traveled so far to see
you today if we were not!" I guess I got
my answer. Since time was limited, we
soon got down to business. They told me
that already, ten churches were ready to
work together. They said that they expected to hold their first conference in
May 2014! It would be the first Missions
Fest in Eastern Europe. We pray that plans
will come together and they will be able to
go ahead with God's strength and wisdom.
May God be praised for the work that is
taking place in Ukraine,
