Knox County man recounts stroke recovery

BY ROBERT HALCOMB Staff Writer Strokes often happen without any warning . A regular day at work , enjoying a meal out , or relaxing can quickly become a catastrophe due to the onset of a stroke .
While enjoying a meal with his compatriots from Redemption Road at Brooklyn Brothers Pizza in Corbin , Jeff Reinhardt began to feel odd .
The Barbourville man noticed that his right arm had gone numb — numb to the point where he was no longer able to move it . At first , Reinhardt thought that his clothes were constricting his arm , but then he noticed that his right leg had also fallen limp .
It was at this point Reinhardt requested to be driven to Baptist Health Corbin a small distance down the road , taking heed to get there as quickly as possible .
