Young people should be valued in the workforce, too. Young Workers United is a
multi-racial and bilingual organization based in San Francisco who work to improve
the quality of jobs for young and migrant workers by advocating for higher wages,
sick pay, overtime, and benefits.
Young Workers United helps workers, especially those in low-wage, high turnover
sectors (like retail, and entertainment) to organize and fight for their right to dignified
work. Every worker, no matter their condition, deserves to be respected and valued
as a person.
