My artwork—much like all art—is to provoke thought. Thought
can equate concern, laughter, being perplexed, or even an inner
scoff. The astronaut is a symbol for dreamers lacking identity,
for the struggling human, and to be the embodiment of all
people—regardless of race, size, gender, or orientation.
I use various media and textures to spread my messages. I’m not
here to draw like a photograph. If you want a photograph, take
one. Technical ability without a purpose is a waste of talent.
