&OXE1HZV Caddie Golf League 2018 n a nail biting fi nish to the Sid Naik Memorial Caddie Golf League - 2018, Arjun Koli of Gulmohar Greens and Mayur Goriya of Kensville tied for the fi nal score at the end of the round, at card of 14 over gross. The match extended to a play off on the 18th hole in which Arjun got better of his opponent and won the Caddie Golf League-2018. Arjun, who was also the winner of CGL-16, shot a bogey on the play-off hole to win over Mayur. Dinesh Vaghela from Kensville , leader after 9 holes, made a quadruple on 17th and had to be content with 2nd runners up position with a gross card of 90. Caddie Golf League was started in 2014 by Siddharth Naik and Brijesh Patel, with the genuine intention of giving the caddies a true experience of playing the game. This year the 5th edition of CGL continues to see strong support from the 3 golf courses viz. Gulmohar Greens Golf and Country Club, RESULTS: Kensville Golf Living and Kalhaar Winner: Arjun K Koli - 86 Blues and Greens Golf Club and Runner up: Mayur Goriya - 86 their promoters. Closest to pin: Vinod C Patel - 2’1” More than 70 caddies from Straightest drive- Arjun J Nayaka - 4’6” these three courses participated in the league this year. The qualifying rounds were played at the individual courses on 30th April, 2018. In the skill prizes, Vinod Patel from Kensville was 2nd runners up with 30 points. Diksha & her Victories! eventeen-year-old Diksha Dagar, India’s No. 1 amateur, fresh from her Asian Games qualifi cation. She enjoyed victory at the Singapore Ladies Amateur Golf Championship also. Did India proud once again on Deeksha when she fi nished a creditable 5th at the Asia Pacifi c Ladies Golf Championship which is also known as Queen Sirikit Cup held in Thailand from 9 - 11 May. Diksha shot rounds of 68, 75 and 69, to total 4-under for the tournament. It was the best score by an Indian in the 40-year history of the annual Asia Pacifi c event. The Indian team, also comprising of Anika Verma and Pranavi Urs, fi nished 6th ahead of Australia and New Zealand.
