WIN THE ULTIMATE GOLF BUG
ADVENTURE TO BARNBOUGLE,
CAPE WICKHAM AND OCEAN
DUNES!
Golf Month is back this October and it’s
bigger and better than ever. Last year we
had 435 clubs and facilities involved and
we’re hoping to top that in 2017.
As a national campaign to drive golf
participation, supported by the entire
Australian golf industry, Golf Month is a
fantastic opportunity to promote your club,
engage your local community, welcome
new people to golf or simply put on an
event to celebrate the game we all love. So
please make sure your club is involved and
has a Golf Month activity on the website.
The 2017 Golf Month marketing campaign
focuses on inspiring our game’s strongest
advocates – club members and passionate
golfers – to share the golf bug with
friends and family. That’s why this year’s
competition, offers them the chance to
win the ultimate golf bug adventure to
Barnbougle, Cape Wickham and Ocean
Dunes!
You can promote the competition and
your Golf Month activities using a range
of marketing materials that we’ve made
available through the Golf Month website,
including posters that can be displayed at
your club. Don’t deprive your members of
the chance to win this amazing prize!
On the marketing kit page, you’ll also find
digital advertising assets that you can use
on your websites and email signatures, as
well as a media release template that you
can tailor to your needs.

I GOLF MANAGEMENT AUSTRALIA

In early September, we’ll share the Golf
Month videos (we’re quietly confident you’ll
love them) with suggested text for posts on
Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Once the national marketing campaign
gets into full swing in mid-September,
if you have a Golf Month activity on the
website, you’ll benefit from targeted social
media advertising, in-show radio content
from media partners, radio advertising,
digital advertising on industry-owned
channels (including the handicap history
page of www.golf.org.au), YouTube pre-roll
advertising, search engine marketing, and
partnerships with Australian Golf Digest
and Golf Australia magazine.
The Golf Month team will also be working
hard to get coverage of Golf Month in the
media, so let’s work together to share the
golf bug this October.
If you have any questions, just email
