Course Updates
Golf Course expansion approved
The Coffs Harbour City Council
has approved an expansion for the
Bonville Golf Course resort.
The application for the development
of shops, offices, units and 318
houses was given conditional
approval at a meeting last week.
The conditions include that people
won’t be able to keep pets cats and
dogs to mitigate the impact the
development might have on the
local koala population. Submissions
to the council have previously
noted the economic benefits of the
development including multi-unit or
tourist accommodation.
The council says concerns about
flooding and the loss of agricultural
land have all been addressed
through buffer zones and the
decision not to develop some areas
of land.
