VIDEO
Prince ’ s Golf Club in Kent played host to the Open Championship in 1932 – won by Gene Sarazen – and currently hosts Final Open Qualifying . It boasts 27 holes of championship quality links as well as accommodation and dining in its Lodge .
Since bringing Golf Genius on board General Manager , Robert McGuirk , hasn ’ t looked back : “ We started using Golf Genius about three years ago to help us manage all our open competitions and for flexibility of running a variety of formats .
“ We ’ re now integrating it for all the members ’ events and because it works well with the World Handicap System it ’ s a no brainer for us .
One key aspect for the operations team at Prince ’ s has been running all their events with a single platform . “ This brings it all under one banner , rather than using different mediums ,” continued McGuirk . “ Using Golf Genius saves our staff an enormous amount of time and makes managing the tournament a lot easier .”
“ Golf Genius is the market leader as far as we ’ re concerned , that ’ s why were using it .”
In addition to the tournament management aspect , Prince ’ s have enjoyed giving their members all the little touches to provide a great experience .
