$103,700
RAISED FOR ACADEMICS,
ARTS, & ATHLETICS AT CPA
THANK YOU!
The 22nd Annual CPA Golf Classic presented
by Franklin American Mortgage Company
was held at Old Natchez Country Club on
Monday, September 25. In what was the
largest turnout to date, 219 golfers enjoyed a
great round of golf on a beautiful fall day!
Many people contributed to the success of
the event. These included: 48 sponsors, 45
volunteers, gift-in-kind donors, and the
hospitality of Old Natchez Country Club staff.
Due to the popularity of the event, there were
enough golfers to fill two separate flights. The
PURPLE shotgun teed off at 8 a.m., and the
GOLD shotgun teed off at 1:30 p.m.
In addition to the golf outing, players enjoyed
delicious food donated by Chick-fil-A, Krispy
Kreme, Corner Pub, and Baja Burrito as well
as fruit from T&T Produce. While on the
course, players were provided complimentary
snacks by Flik Independent School Dining and
beverages from Coca-Cola.
As is our custom, each golfer was given a
complimentary gift. This year’s gift was a
backpack cooler with the CPA logo, which was
generously donated by Outdoor Active Gear.
After each flight, golfers convened in the
clubhouse for a meal and awards ceremony.
Through sponsorships, player registrations,
and donations, the 22nd Annual CPA Golf
Classic presented by Franklin American
Mortgage Company raised $103,700 to benefit
arts, athletics, and academics at CPA - the
largest amount ever raised. Thank you all for
another amazing tournament!
A CPA grandparent remarked, “This is one of
our favorite events of the year. We never miss
this tournament!”
We look forward to seeing you next year for
the 23rd Annual CPA Golf Classic!
