Glenview Jr . Golf Academy

The Glenview Junior Golf Academy is a unique , fun and exciting program designed to promote growth and development for junior golfers . The six-level progressive teaching program provides professional instruction through each stage of development .
Juniors attend four 50-minute group lessons per month based on the flexible academy schedule ( schedule available online at golfglenview . com ).
Classes include fun learning activities , golf fitness games and contests . Students new to the program will start at Hole 1 ; at the end of every month , each junior golfer will be evaluated on whether or not they are ready to progress to the next hole . This allows all junior golfers to learn the game of golf comfortably at his / her own pace . Max / Min : 8 / 4

Grip , stance , alignment , posture and ball position

Chipping and putting ( proper club selection , pre-swing and swing fundamentals )

Hole 3 On Course
Golf Course Rules and Etiquette Location : Glenview Prairie Club
Hole 4 Advanced Full Swing Fundamentals
Should turn , hip turn and weight transfer Location : Glenview Park Golf Club
Hole 5 Advanced Short Game
Set-up , swing fundamentals and distance control .

LEARN TO COMPETE JR . LEAGUE Geared towards the experienced junior golfer looking to transition into tournament golf . This league gives your child the opportunity to play 9 holes of golf each week with an instructor in each foursome emphasizing course etiquette , rules , score keeping , pace of play , and course strategies throughout the round . Juniors attending this program must have their own equipment , and have least 2 years of experience or have completed all 6 Holes of the Glenview Junior Golf Academy . Teacher-to-student ratio is 1:4 .
