West Golf Course We are thrilled to welcome you to the 2025 John ’ s Island Golf Junior Camp ! This season , we ’ ve made some exciting enhancements to ensure that your junior not only improves like never before but also has an absolute blast along the way .
What ’ s New This Year ? Extended Camp Hours ( 9 AM – 1 PM ): We ’ ve added an extra hour to provide more instruction , fun games , and opportunities for skill development . Junior Camp Report Cards : Each golfer will receive personalized feedback to reflect on their performance and guide their next steps as rising stars in the game . Premier Practice & On-Course Experience : This year ’ s camp will be hosted at the West Golf Course , allowing us to utilize our top-tier practice facility and create the most realistic on-course learning environment possible . Enhanced Safety & Space : The expanded practice area ensures that each student has plenty of room to work on their game under our expert guidance . Personalized Practice Plans : At the end of the camp , each junior golfer will receive a customized practice plan on a notecard , targeting their specific areas for improvement . This will provide clear , actionable steps to continue their progress beyond the camp .
Camp Breakdown : Day 1 : Putting & Short Game Fundamentals – Focus on building a strong foundation with putting drills , distance control , and fun games like Horse and Around the World . Day 2 : Chipping , Pitching , and Bunker Play – Skill-building exercises in chipping , pitching , and bunker shots , along with short-game challenges and a final Short Game Olympics . Day 3 : Full Swing , Driving , and On-Course Play – A deep dive into full-swing mechanics , driving accuracy , and on-course strategy , followed by a Scramble team competition and skills challenges .
The registration fee includes daily snacks and over 12 hours of instruction . With a student-to-coach ratio of 6:1 , each participant is given the individual attention they need to grow their game .
