WELCOME
Welcome to the 2024-2025 Golf Season !
To keep all three courses in top condition , Mike Scott and I have created a Calendar that focuses on maintenance first , with one shotgun per course during weekdays when possible . This will help keep our golf courses in top condition season-long .
We have also created programming for players of all levels that allows us to maximize general tee time availability for all members . For 2024-2025 , the schedule includes 3 Ladies ’ shotguns ( JILGA 18 , JI9-HGA , Ladies Saturday Shotgun ) and 3 Men ’ s shotguns ( Warriors / Islanders , Muchachos , Amigos ) per week .
Additional tee time offerings throughout the week include Mulligans , Men ’ s 9 Holers , JI9- HGA Choose Up , and the return of Ladies 20 & Under on Thursdays . A full slate of Mixed Golf Events occurs on Sundays throughout the season .
The West Course will be led by Head Professional Austin Cook . Gaby Gillis will spend her first season as North / South Head Professional . Golf Shop Manager Debbie Gaw returns for another season . Derek Swoboda will lead the John ’ s Island Golf Academy for his second year . We are also looking forward to welcoming both new and familiar seasonal team members for the season .
