LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION
Dear John ’ s Island Club Member ,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 Golf Season at John ’ s Island Club . It is a distinct honor to display an incredibly talented team of golf instructors for my second season at John ’ s Island Club .
The vision of the team we have put together is to best serve each of you in your game individually . We believe that in order to best understand your golf swing and game , you must first have a blueprint for what that looks like . Our team will create that blueprint to success through a series of tests and measurements , leading you to a more enjoyable way of playing the game .
The Instruction Team consists of Tim Gillis who returns for his ninth season here at John ’ s Island Club while Danny Harcourt returns for his second season from Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in New Jersey . Joining the team of instructors this season is Emilee McCusker from Hayward Golf Club in Wisconsin . Another addition to our team is a club fitting specialist named Mark Weitz . Mark comes to us from Boothbay Harbor Country Club in Maine .
Continuing this season is the celebrity instructional series at John ’ s Island West ! This series is designed to bring the best golf instruction in the world to your backyard . Some of these instructional names include but are not limited to Hall of Fame member and No . 2 in the world Mike Adams , Golf Magazine Top 100 Teachers Kellie Stenzel , Stan Utley and Bruce Rearick .
We look forward to a great year at John ’ s Island Club . We ’ re dedicated to helping each of you achieve your goals in this wonderful game we all love .
