Βρίσκεται στα νοτιοανατολικά της
Τήνου, αποτελώντας ιδανική πρόταση
για οικογένειες με παιδιά, καθώς είναι
προστατευμένη από τους ανέμους, έχει
πεντακάθαρα ρηχά νερά –ό,τι πρέπει για
μικρούς κολυμβητές– και χρυσαφένια
αμμουδιά. Ομπρέλες, ξαπλώστρες, beach
bars και ταβέρνες εντάσσονται στο
«δυναμικό» παροχών της ακτής. Ο Άγιος
Ιωάννης Πόρτο απέχει περίπου 6χλμ. από
τη Χώρα. Located at the southwest part of
Tinos, it is a perfect suggestion
for families with children, as it is
protected from the winds; it has
clear shallow waters —suitable for
little swimmers— and golden sand.
Sun umbrellas, sunbeds, open-air
bars and taverns are included in the
shore’s facilities. Agios Ioannis Porto
is approximately 6 km away from
Chora.
ΑΓΙΟΣ ΡΩΜΑΝΟΣ AGIOS ROMANOS
Η φύση προίκισε την παραλία του
Αγίου Ρωμανού με διάφανα νερά,
μεγάλη αμμουδιά, σκιερά αρμυρίκια
και ανεμπόδιστη θέα στη Σύρο.
Ονοματοδότης για την απάνεμη
ακρογιαλιά (το λιμανάκι της μπορεί να
εξυπηρετήσει μικρά σκάφη) υπήρξε το
μικρό εκκλησάκι στην αριστερή άκρη του
όρμου. Απέχει 11χλμ. από τη Χώρα. Nature bestowed the beach of Agios
Romanos with transparent waters, a
great stretch of sand, shade-offering
tamarisks and full view to Syros. This
leeward shore —its eddy is suitable
for small vessels— is the namesake
of the chapel on the left side of the
cove. Agios Romanos is 11 km away
from Chora.
