ΔΗΛΟΣ
Η χρυσή πόλη με τους κίονες, τα
ψηφιδωτά, τα αγάλματα, τις παλαίστρες,
το αρχαίο θέατρο και τις αλλοτινές
πλούσιες συνοικίες είδε ξανά το φως το
1873, μετά τις ανασκαφές της Γαλλικής
Αρχαιολογικής Σχολής Αθηνών. Το
1990 η Δήλος ανακηρύχθηκε μνημείο
παγκόσμιας πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς
από την UNESCO. Σήμερα, στον
αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Δήλου θα δεις
Στοές, Αγορές, ιερά και ναούς όπως,
του Απόλλωνα, της Αρτέμιδος, της
Λητούς, των Αθηναίων κλπ. Επίσης, θα
θαυμάσεις τη λεωφόρο των Λεόντων και
τη Συνοικία του Θεάτρου με το αρχαίο
θέατρο του 3ου π.Χ. αιώνα. Στη Δήλο θα
φτάσεις με τα τουριστικά πλοιάρια που
αναχωρούν καθημερινά στις 09:00, στις
10:00, στις 11:00 και στις 17: 00 από το
λιμανάκι του Γιαλού, δίπλα στο εκκλησάκι
του Αγίου Νικολάου.

DELOS
The sacred island of the ancient times
is located 6 n.m. southwest of Mykonos.
The golden city with the columns, the
mosaics, the statues, the palaestrae,
the ancient theatre and the bygone
wealthy districts came to light again
in 1873, after the excavations of the
French Archaeological School of Athens.
In 1990 Delos was declared a monument
of global cultural heritage by UNESCO.
Today, in the archaeological site of Delos
one will see Arcades, Markets, worship
centers and temples as that of Apollo,
of Artemis, of Leto, of the Athenians etc.
You will also see the avenue of Lions
and the Theatre district with the ancient
theatre from the 3rd century BC. You can
access Delos by tourist boats that depart
daily at 09:00, at 10:00, at 11:00 and at
17:00 from the port of Gialos, next to the
church of Agios Nikolaos.
