ΚΙΝΗΜΑΤΟΓΡΑΦΟΥ ΣΥΡΟΥ
Το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογρά-
φου Σύρου (SIFF) έρχεται για 7η
φορά στη Σύρο από 16 έως 21 Ιουλίου
και θέτει στο επίκεντρό του το θέμα
της «Υπερέκθεσης», μιας έννοιας
που μπορεί να αναφέρεται σε μια
σειρά διαφορετικών φαινομένων,
από τη φωτογραφική μέθοδο και τον
κορεσμό της αναπαράστασης μέχρι
την πληροφοριακή υπερφόρτωση. Το
φεστιβάλ εκτείνεται σε όλο το νησί,
από τους κινηματογράφους «Παλ-
λάς», το ναυπηγείο «Ταρσανάς» μέχρι
το «αυτοσχέδιο» drive in στην Ντελα-
γκράτσια, τονίζοντας τη φυσιογνωμία
του τοπίου μέσα από τη σύνδεσή του
με την 7η τέχνη.
7th SYROS INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL
The Syros International Film Festival
(SIFF) will be hosted for the 7th time in
Syros, from 16 until 21 July, focusing on
“Over-exposure”, a concept that may
concern a series of different phe-
nomena, from the namesake photo-
graphic method and the saturation of
representation to the information over-
load. The festival takes over the island,
from the two “Pallas” movie theaters,
to “Tarsanas” shipyard to the “make-
shift” drive-in at Dellagracia Man-
sion, emphasizing on the landscape
physiognomy through its connection to
the 7th Art.

ΚΥΚΛΑΔΩΝ
Το 14ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κλασικής
Μουσικής Κυκλάδων με θέμα «Κλασι-
κή μουσική και λαϊκή παράδοση» επι-
στρέφει στο Θέατρο Απόλλων, στην
Ερμούπολη, από 12 έως 18 Αυγούστου.
Καλλιτέχνες από όλο τον κόσμο θα
παρουσιάσουν αριστουργηματικά
έργα μουσικής δωματίου και άριες
από την Όπερα, υπό την καλλιτεχνική
διεύθυνση του βιολονίστα της Εθνικής
Λυρικής Σκηνής, Γιάννου Μαργαζιώτη.

CLASSICAL MUSIC
FESTIVAL OF CYCLADES
The 14th International Classical Music
Festival of Cyclades titled “Classical
music and folk tradition” returns to the
Apollo Theater, in Ermoupoli, from 12
until 18 August. Artists from all over
the world will present masterpieces of
chamber music and opera arias, with
the artistic direction of the violinist of
the Greek National Opera, Mr. Yannos
Margaziotis.

To πιο πρωτοποριακό φεστιβάλ της
Σύρου και ταυτόχρονα το μοναδικό
art festival σε δημόσιο χώρο στην
Ελλάδα, που συνδυάζει την digital
τεχνολογία, το video installation &
performing art με τον πολιτισμό,
επανέρχεται στο νησί για έκτη χρονιά.
Από 26 -31 Ιουλίου, όσοι βρεθούν
στο νησί θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να
ανακαλύψουν τα Λαζαρέτα μέσα από
τις δράσεις διεθνών video installation
artists, θεατρικές παραστάσεις,
workshops κ.ά.

FESTIVAL
The most whimsical art festival in
Syros and, at the same time, the only
one held in a public place in Greece,
combining digital technology, video
installations & performing arts with
culture, returns to the island for the
6th year. From 26 until 31 July, those in
Syros will have the chance to discov-
er the Lazareta district through the
works of internationally famous video
installation artists, theater perfor-
mances, workshops etc.
