Outreach. Across from the Doveton's home lives a dear old lady who turned 101 the next day, and our ladies thought it a wonderful opportunity for an Outreach. So they got busy inviting people up and down the street to join in celebrating Thurle Perkins' st 101 ! And they came!  Incidentally, Sis Molly Attlee turned 83 on the same day! So we made it a double 'celebration'. The purpose behind it all was to present Jesus to the goodly gathering of neighbours that crowded into the Doveton's sun room; the squeeze added to the atmosphere and everyone was in good spirits.  Kind words and blessings rained upon our two Guests of Honour, whose beaming smiles evidenced their joy!  My husband, Gerald, had been invited as the 'guest speaker' and, when the moment came, he delivered a short, punchy Gospel message that challenged all. We believe good seed was sown and expect a good harvest in due course.  Praise the Lord for the opportunity to magnify His Name!
