“A parallel universe, also known as an alternate universe or
alternate reality, is a hypothetical, self-contained reality co-
existing with one's own. A specific group of parallel universes
is called a "multiverse,” although, this term can also be used
to describe the possible parallel universes that constitute
reality.
The world as we know it has three dimensions of space—
length, width and depth—and, one dimension of time. But
there's the mind-bending possibility that many more
dimensions exist out there. According to string theory, one of
the leading physics model of the last half-century, the
universe operates with 10 dimensions.
The multiverse, also known as an omniverse, is a hypothetical
group of multiple universes, including the universe in which
we live. Together, these universes comprise everything that
exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, energy, and the
physical laws and constants that describe them.”
