Christis Christoforou: There are many,
most of which have been raised in the past
and the current situation only heightens the
urgency of addressing them. I’m thinking
of the effectiveness of the public sector –
timeliness of results, ease of access (online
services), new resources in technology and
up-skilling public servants. This is vital in
business-facing services such as the Registrar
of Companies, the Inland Revenue and the
VAT office. It is also essential in the legal
system – faster and effective court processes
and dispute resolution. This is not a time
for cost-cutti
