What is your favorite thing about being an actress?

I think for me, one of my most favorite parts of being an actress is the people that come into your life! I have been so lucky to meet the most amazing people and when you are on a set, you get very close to people very fast so they have this special place in your heart forever. I think I am who I am because of the amazing people I have met and who help me to be the best version of myself that I can be!

Who is your inspiration?

I think it's hard to say just one person. I am inspired by so many people in different ways. My parents inspire me every day because they both work hard and give so much love to everyone in their lives. I'm lucky to have good people around me! One of my best friends is also an actress and we go through this journey together and she supports me and loves me and is always there for me! So Emily - if you're reading this...lol...I love you. I've worked with some inspiring people. My director on Fist Fight, Richie, is one of the most special humans I've ever met even though I don't see him a lot, I take his words and encouragement he gives with me everywhere I go!

Do you ever plan on writing your own movie or project?

Wow interesting. Nobody has asked me about writing my own project and I actually really love to write! I have a hundred journals all over my house and I try to write songs. I haven't yet tried to write a script but I think I could see it in my future. I would also love to direct one day!

What scares you the most when you get a new role and how do you get over the doubt?

Actors are people pleasers in a way - at least that's my opinion! Yeah of course we do what we do because we love it and want to make art but I think we also want to be responsible for making people feel something. So I think what's scary is wondering if what you are creating is going to make someone feel something. Is it going to be good enough? Then, to get over the doubt - I just jump in feet first and give it my everything. I tell myself to have faith in myself and the people guiding me on this journey and everything starts to seem ok!
