I am a Songwriter Girl. I have been one since I was 16 years old and wrote my first song.
I was inspired by my mom to pursue the opportunity of writing a patriotic songwriting contest.
The title was “Give a Salute to Uncle Sam.” I ended up winning the contest! I think my mom is a Songwriter Girl at heart, too.
Meet
the SONGWRITER
GIRL
S
ongwriter Girls are everywhere and I want to
meet them all. I’m celebrating my 10 year
anniversary with my company Songwriter
Girl in 2017 and am proud of what we have
accomplished.
I’ve been very blessed to have had success in the music business. I co-wrote and co-published the 6 week No. 1 song, “Austin,” Blake Shelton’s (NBC’s The Voice) single that introduced him to country radio. I also co-wrote and co-published Big & Rich’s single, “Loud.” My songs have been heard on TV, film and commercials on ESPN, Dance Wars, The Voice, 60 Minutes and more.
