Serving families across more than 122 square miles in Johnson County— and portions of Hood and Tarrant counties— Godley ISD provides exceptional educational opportunities for more than 3,300 students across six campuses.
Godley ISD continues to manage significant enrollment growth while preserving the small-town feel that defines the community. The district’ s thoughtful planning and commitment to excellence ensure that as student numbers rise, families continue to experience personalized attention, strong relationships, and a supportive learning environment.
The district’ s schools include Godley High School( Grades 9 – 12), Godley Middle School( Grades 7 – 8) and the Godley Sixth Grade Campus. Three elementary schools— Legacy Elementary, Pleasant View Elementary, and R. B. Godley Elementary— serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade, with full-day pre-kindergarten offered at Pleasant View and R. B. Godley. High school students also have access to LINKS Academy, an alternative education program supporting individual academic needs.
Godley ISD continues to strengthen its commitment to student safety and well-being through districtwide enhancements in campus security, facilities, and emergency preparedness. These proactive measures ensure that every classroom and campus provides a safe, welcoming environment where students can focus on learning and growth.
Academic and career readiness remain at the heart of the district’ s mission. Godley ISD’ s Career & Technical Education programs offer students hands-on experiences that prepare them for success in college, careers, and life. Pathways in health science, robotics, education, engineering, business, and other high-demand fields empower students to explore interests, develop leadership skills, and earn valuable industry certifications. Many students also compete and excel at state and national levels in career and technical student organizations.

Through innovative learning opportunities, a dedicated staff, and strong community partnerships, Godley ISD continues to expand programs that engage students and connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. A dual-enrollment partnership with Tarleton State University allows students to earn college credit while still in high school, saving time and money as they pursue future goals.
With a shared focus on excellence, innovation, and community, Godley ISD proudly continues to Lead, Grow and Serve— preparing students to succeed today and thrive tomorrow.
